Keep it close, keep it warm, and finish in 15 minutes. Real connection beats elaborate props.

Fast setups

• Window-side lean: Sit/stand by a window; one arm around, foreheads touching.
• Couch cuddle: Seated, angled toward each other; tree blurred behind. Prompt: “Tell them your favorite part of this year.”
• Porch glow: Blue hour outside with a few lights; hold hands, look at each other.
• Walk-and-talk: Slow walk toward camera; eyes on each other, not the lens.

Lighting

• Turn off overheads; window + lamp or two lamps at angles.
• If outside, shoot golden hour or overcast; avoid harsh midday.
• No direct phone flash; bounce/diffuse if you must.

Prompts

• “Whisper what you’re grateful for.”
• “Look at their lips, then eyes, then camera.”
• “On three, lean in and laugh; small laugh is enough.”

Safety/comfort

• No climbing on furniture/railings; sit or stand solidly.
• Cold? Keep it under 10 minutes outside; warm up between shots.
• Avoid props that block faces; keep hands visible.

If the setting isn’t pretty

• Pull 3–4 ft from a blank wall; crop tight.
• Upload and generate 18 romantic/modern scenes in 60 seconds—choose Romantic Winter, Modern Minimal, Fireplace, or Tree Farm; export 5x7.

Quick edit/export

• Brighten slightly; warm tone; keep skin texture.
• Export sRGB, 300 DPI at 5x7 for print; 1080–2048 px long side for digital.
• One or two strong photos beat twenty almost-there shots.

Wrap in a line that matches the mood: “Merry Christmas from our cozy corner,” or “Thanks for loving me through the year.” Then you’re done.
